Our process

From measuring to install - four easy steps

No mystery. Here's exactly how a project runs from the first call to the last cabinet hung.

  1. 01

    In-Home Visit

Once you reach out, we book a brief in‑home visit or video call. We measure the space, assess functional needs and plumbing, electrical and appliance integration. You walk us through what works, what doesn't, and your must‑haves, nice‑to‑haves, budget, and timeline so the next design step is grounded in reality, not guesswork.

  2. 02

    Preliminary Design

We turn your measurements and priorities into a preliminary layout with 3D renderings so you can clearly see the new kitchen from multiple angles. Along with the visuals, we provide an accurate cabinetry quote based on real cabinet lines and options, not ballpark numbers.

  3. 3.

    Zoom Design Review

During a Zoom call, we will walk through the preliminary design together, hear your thoughts, and capture any changes you want to make. From there, we refine the layout so it's dialed in before moving to final selections and ordering. We will drop off the door samples and paint chips you pick out so you can see how they look in your kitchen.

  4. 04

    Ordering & Installation

We coordinate directly with your contractor to confirm when the jobsite will be ready for cabinet installation, and we time the order around that window based on the manufacturer's lead time. Cabinets are shipped to the jobsite.

How payment works

Straightforward from the start.

We keep our payment structure straightforward so you always know what you're paying for and when.

1

Initial Design Retainer — $500

Before we begin the preliminary design, we collect a $500 retainer. This covers the time we spend creating your custom layout and 3D renderings, and it's fully credited toward your cabinetry order if you move forward with us. If you don't, the design is still yours to keep.

2

Revision Retainer — $500

After we present the preliminary design on our Zoom review, most clients land on a final direction with minor tweaks included. If you decide to go in a significantly different direction or want a full redesign, we collect an additional $500 retainer to cover the extra design work. This is also credited toward your cabinetry order when you move forward.

3

Cabinetry Deposit — 50% Once Ordered

Once the design is approved and you're ready to order, we collect a 50% deposit on the cabinetry (separate from the retainer) to place the order with the manufacturer. The remaining 50% is due at delivery to the jobsite.

4

Final Payment — 50% Once Received

Once the cabinets have been delivered to the warehouse/jobsite we will send the final invoice.

The design, in plain language

You get the design. Either way.

Floor plan drawings on a table

We measure the space, render a real layout, and walk you through it on a Zoom call. Move forward with us and the design becomes your project spec. Don't — the drawing is still yours.
